From the south side of Indianapolis, take I-465 northbound around the west side of the city.  Take the 56th St. Exit (exit 19) and head west (left) on 56th St. for approximately one mile.  After passing the stoplight for Reed Road, you should see the entrance to Eagle Creek Park on the right.  If you find yourself on a bridge crossing over Eagle Creek Reservoir you've gone too far! Once you have entered the park, simply follow the park directional signs to Go Ape/Earth Discovery Center, or stay on the main road (Eagle Creek Parkway) as it curves and winds through the park.  Go past the first left (Eagle Beach Drive) and continue another 0.5 miles to take the next left, which will be Walnut Point Rd.  Take the next left hand turn (Delong Rd.) and go past the Peace Learning Center to the end of the road and you will see the Go Ape cabin.

From the north side of Indianapolis, take I-465 west/southbound and exit at 71st St. (exit 21).  Head west (right) on 71st St. for approximately 1.4 miles.  Shortly after the stoplight for Lafayette Rd. and entrances onto I-65, 71st St. turns into Eagle Creek Parkway and enters Eagle Creek Park at the 71st. St. Gatehouse. Once you have entered the park, simply follow the park directional signs to the Earth Discovery Center, or stay on the main road (Eagle Creek Parkway) as it curves and winds south through the park.  Go past the turn for the Ornithology Center and continue for approximately one mile.  Shortly after passing a playground area to your left, take the next right which will be Walnut Point Rd.  Take the next left hand turn (Delong Rd.) and go past the Peace Learning Center to the end of the road and you will see the Go Ape cabin.

Feedback from Eagle Creek Park – Indianapolis, Indiana

Take a look at what some of our tribe have said about their time in the forest. It's always good to hear it straight from the Gorilla's mouth (...and we're proud to say it’s totally unedited!)

goape had more obsticals than I had expected, it was lots more fun than I had expected and very glad that I work out @ a fitness center so as to better enjoy the experience. The instructors for goape really re-inforce the safety aspect and make sure particapents know how to use the equipment and feel secure and safe. I would like the same course but perhaps w/an extra zip line or two thrown in. I have been telling all my friends about goape and how much fun it we had. Thanks for coming to Eagle Creek!
