One adult (18+) is required to supervise up to eight 6 - 15 year olds. The supervising adult may either participate on the course (paying) or supervise from the ground (no charge). ** 16 and 17 year olds do not require a participating adult. They require a waiver signed by either their legal guardian or an adult (18+) who has obtained permission from their legal guardian.
Know Before You Go
What happens in bad weather?
Go Ape is an excellent all weather activity. The course remains open in all weather conditions, except when it is icy, or there is thunder and risk of lightning. Go Ape is great in hot weather because our courses are shaded by the forest canopy, so it’s usually several degrees cooler and drier than you’d expect. Plus, there are water stations throughout the course to keep you hydrated, so drink up!
Can I participate if I am afraid of heights?
If you are worried about your knees knocking and your arms trembling, you are not alone. Turns out Go Ape is a fantastic way to overcome your fears! We are extremely proud to have helped many of our guests conquer their fear of heights. Why not give it a try? Don't let a fear of heights get in the way of an awesome new experience.
Can I zip line without going through the obstacles?
Our Treetop Junior adventure includes having guests attach to a safety system and climb steps to access the course up in the trees and cross multiple obstacles before reaching the zip lines. As participants are attached the whole time, crossing the obstacles before reaching the zip lines is required.
Is it safe?
We take the safety of our guests very seriously and we ensure that everyone who comes to Go Ape has the training and skills to complete a course without putting themselves or anyone else in danger. For the safety of everyone on the course, we require all participants to read and sign our waiver before going Ape.
